We Have Something to Say is a reaffirmation of the importance of the individual to have a voice.  The long history of mark-making in the sand and markings on the cave walls were not only a testament to the existence of the human animal but to deeper human desires. This being an interpretation of the world they inhabited was essential to their psyche and its primordial desire to communicate a reaction to a world made of accidental encounters as well as self-determined events. This impulse remains unchanged as the artist's role as communicator remains critical to contemporary intellectual, cultural and political discourse.
